Artist returns to Milton Public Library for hands-on workshop

On Wednesday, June 21st from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., award-winning pastel artist Gregory Maichack returns to the Milton library to present an adult hands-on workshop called “Pastel Paint: the 45-Million Dollar Flower.”  All materials are provided for this workshop which is designed for all levels of painters: from sheer beginners to experienced artists.  Participants will create their own pastel painting of Georgia O’Keefe’s elegant “Jimson Flower” that sold for just short of $45 million.  Space is limited to 25 students and advance registration is required.  An $8 materials fee will be collected at the door.

All of these programs will be held in the Keys Community Room unless otherwise noted here, and they are sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library.  They are free and open to the public, and  the Milton Public Library is located at 476 Canton Avenue.  You can go to our website: www.miltonlibrary.org or call (617) 698-5757, x. 3 and ask for Jean Hlady, Adult Services Librarian, for more information about them.
