Denise “Denny” Swenson is running for Planning Board Member.

Denny spent her career as an award-winning journalist at WGBH, learning to get to the bottom of issues by working hard and listening to people. She has continued to use those skills to give voice to our neighborhoods. As a founding member of the Milton Neighborhood Coalition, Denny knows each neighborhood is a special place where children learn, families grow, and seniors enjoy retirement. Denny has also worked with our neighborhoods to protect our beloved Blue Hills as president of the Friends of Blue Hills, and considers environmental protection to be a core concern for her candidacy. As our next Planning Board Member, Denny will work with all of us to bring a fresh perspective– a new voice, new ears, and new ideas.
