Milton resident Pauline Wells to perform on December 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Concert to benefit Cops for Kids with Cancer charity
For the past two years Milton resident and Cambridge Police Lieutenant Pauline Wells has hosted a benefit holiday concert at the beautiful Norwood Theater.
“Home for Christmas” is a thoughtful and moving concert set upon a wonderful stage design. As soon as you walk into the theater, you are embraced by the holiday spirit. Pauline who performed at theaters from Boston to New York City is thrilled to announce that for a third year, Home for Christmas will be held Friday December 9th, at the Norwood Theater. For those of you who have attended past concerts, you understand the magic that comes from the entertainers and songs.
The most IMPORTANT aspect of this concert is that it benefits a wonderful charity that is very close to her, “Cops for Kids with Cancer.” This group of police officers provides (6) $5000 grants each month to the families of children battling cancer.
This year, Pauline has invited as our featured guest, the acclaimed Quincy Choral Society. Her great friend, the legendary radio host Matt O’Donnell of WROL, will once again MC the night.
She will also be accompanied by my dear friends Declan Houton, Larry Flint, Chuck Parrish, Steve O’Callahan, Martin McPhilemy and Paul Kenneally, who once again offer a brilliant presentation of music.
This is a concert that not only benefits children battling cancer, this is a concert that warms the heart of everyone in attendance.
Don’t miss your chance to bring family and friends to this heartfelt holiday benefit.
