Dear friends and neighbors –

My name is Michael Hale and I am excited to announce my candidacy for Town Meeting Member, Precinct 3. My wife Maggie (O’Donnell) and I and our 2 young kids Shannon and Ethan have called Milton home for almost 5 years. We’ve been very active in many community and school organizations. I’m involved with coaching Milton Youth Soccer and am the President of the Milton Invitational Horseshoes Organization. I’ve also served as an At-Large member of the Milton Capital Improvement Planning Committee for the past 2+ years and participated in the development of capital funding plans for our town budget.

In my professional life, I am Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture for Steward Health Care in Dorchester, where I run an organization that develops IT solutions designed to improve healthcare for patients and caregivers alike for our community-based hospitals. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Siena College and my MBA from Boston University.

I’m interested in becoming Town Meeting Member because I want to continue to serve the community and have a voice in the important decisions that affect our town and our quality of life. If elected, I feel that my experience and enthusiasm, combined with my pragmatic approach to decision making will make me a proud representative of my neighbors and our desire to continue to make Milton a great place to live.
