I am both proud of, and humbled by, the announcement of my candidacy for Milton Selectman.  After careful thought and consideration, and profound encouragement from our community, I have decided to try and continue my leadership role within the Town that I know and love so well.  Simply said, I have dedicated my life to Milton, wherein I feel privileged to work and raise my family.  I followed in my father’s footsteps and protected this Town as an honored member of the Milton Police force for the last 32 years, the last 9 years as the Chief of Police. Day in and day out, I interact with various Department Heads, the Town Administrator, the Board of Selectmen as well as many, many citizens. Your issues and concerns have always touched me. The courage and attention that I have witnessed from so many residents are inspiring. Many of our personal encounters involved positive impacts for our community. Others involved serious tragedies. Always however, your family and where you make your home has been at the forefront.

I know and appreciate every nook and cranny of our great Town, and I’m inspired by the strength and dedication of this community.   I also understand the values that Milton holds dear, including trust, community and leadership, as well as where there is room for improvement and growth.   My passion for being a “guardian” of the things you hold dear, your children, education and public safety is critical. We are a community that needs to value and support our seniors; they are men and women who helped shape the framework of Milton.

Making thoughtful decisions on a daily basis that effect your quality of life has encouraged me to step up and seek a new governance role within Milton.  I have no doubt that my proven leadership and experience will be needed to help make informed decisions that will move Milton forward! I respectively ask for your support and vote in the upcoming election for Milton Board of Selectmen on April 26, 2016. Milton is YOUR community.
