Brookwood Community Farm hosts spring fundraiser at Novara Restaurant

Tuesday, March 29, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Seeds are being planted inside the greenhouses at Brookwood Community Farm in anticipation for another successful season! To celebrate the arrival of the 2016 growing season and to raise funds for its Food Access initiatives, Brookwood Community Farm will host its annual spring fundraiser this year at Novara Restaurant on Tuesday, March 29 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Novara is located at 566 Adams Street in Milton.

Funds raised will support the farm’s food access work that make the locally grown produce available to lower-income families across the area. Brookwood makes weekly food donations to half a dozen food pantries and shelters, including the Milton Food Pantry. Brookwood also partners with the Milton Residents Fund to make its weekly food shares accessible to a number of Milton families.

Great raffle items include 2 pounds of honey & a month of eggs, local restaurant gift certificates, passes to Paint Night at Milton Art Center, and a late surprise, 2 tickets to the Celtics for April 11 will be offered through a silent auction!
