Two people were killed and a third was injured early Wednesday morning when a car went off the road and hit a tree in the Blue Hills Reservation.
Police say troopers responding to the crash on Route 28 between Route 93 and Chickatawbut Road shortly before 1:30 a.m. found a vehicle on its roof and engulfed in flames with two people trapped inside. Police said two people sitting in the front of the car were pronounced dead at the scene and a third, who was sitting in a back seat, was taken to a hospital in Boston.
