Milton (Div. 4) captured titles on Saturday in Wrentham to qualify for the All-State meet on Nov. 21 at Westfield.
The Hingham High boys and Milton girls cut through the wind and cold Saturday to take home team titles at the EMass divisional cross country championships in Wrentham.
Both teams qualified for the All-State meet on Nov. 21 at Westfield.
Milton captured the Div. 4 championship by placing three girls in the top five, led by individual winner Colette O’Leary, who covered the 5K course in 18:46.71.
Teammates Bridget Mitchell (3rd, 18:52.52) and Elise O’Leary (5th, 19:12.21) also starred, and the Wildcats got valuable points out of Naomi Negassi (12th, 19:51.46) and Alexis Belash (25th, 20:18.47).
Milton’s two non-scoring runners – Mairead Dambruch (33rd, 20:43.20) and Clodagh Corcoran (39th, 21:03.99) – also had strong times.
