Department of Conservation and Recreation to hold public meeting at Trailside Museum
The primary goal of this study, being undertaken by Toole Design Group, is to provide DCR with an updated condition assessment and improvement analysis of DCR Parkways located in the Boston Metropolitan Region in order to bring them up to current standards and provide safe and comfortable multimodal accommodations for all users.
At this public meeting, DCR and Toole Design Group will introduce the study project, identify the key goals and needs of the study, and share information about the public participation plan and available online resources and tools. At subsequent public meetings on this subject, input will be solicited from stakeholders and the public on existing conditions of the network, priority programs and policy opportunities, design treatments, and draft recommendations for short- and long-term improvements.
