Come be a part of a community river cleanup on the Neponset River in Hyde Park on Saturday, October 3 at 8:30 a.m. Help remove man-made debris from our favorite river, making it more scenic, boat-able, and wildlife-friendly!
We’ll meet at the Martini Shell Park on Truman Parkway in Hyde Park, where we’ll assign each volunteer a work location. Then volunteers will travel to their sites and work together to pull debris out of the river.
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained, wet, and/or torn – e.g., shirt, long pants, sturdy shoes, hat, work gloves. Please bring drinking water, sunblock, bug repellent, and a snack.
Place: Martini Shell parking lot, 1015 Truman Parkway, Hyde Park
