From the Desk of Milton Public Schools Superintendent Mary Gormley:
It has been a very eventful week here in the Milton Public Schools, with PSATs taking place at Milton High School and a plethora of events happening in the middle and elementary schools as well. There are two events in particular – from athletics to artistic – that I’d like to mention. First, our athletic news: The Milton High School football team was featured on television earlier this week. WCVB-TV Channel 5 did a “High Five” segment on our Wildcats. For those who missed it, here is the link: www.wcvb.com/sports/high-5-milton-high-school-football/35867090
Secondly, I would like to recognize Beatrix Cohen-Raymond, a Collicot first-grader, whose design for the Monster Dash T-shirt was chosen from dozens of submissions from all over town. To view Beatrix’s beautiful spider-web-inspired design and to see a list of honorable mentions and runners-up for the T shirt contest, please visit the MFE homepage here: www.miltonfoundationforeducation.org. Please see the item below under “MFE” for information on how to register for the Monster Dash.
