October 2015 Milton Public Library Wotiz Gallery Photography Exhibit with Linde Eyster.
Do you want you or your children to be inspired to look more closely at nature?
From October 1 through 30, the Milton Public Library will host an exciting and unusual exhibition of close-up photography of insects and spiders by Milton Academy biology teacher Linde Eyster.
Each macrophotograph was taken using natural light in her small home garden located just a few miles from the library. The exhibit entitled “Looking Closely: My Garden 2011-2104” includes just a selection of Ms. Eyster’s work.
Portions of the collection have been previously exhibited by the Boston Nature Center, Milton Academy Performing Arts, and the Blue Hills Trailside Museum.
If you would like to discuss this biodiversity project or the close-up photographic process with the photographer please ttend the Open House on Thursday, October 8 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., 476 Canton Avenue, Milton, MA. For further information on displaying your art, contact Jean Hlady, Adult Services Librarian, at 617-698-5757, ext. 3.
