From Brookwood Community Farm:

This summer come and join us at Brookwood Community Farm for our Read and Explore Program on alternating Wednesdays starting at 9:30 AM.

On alternating Wednesdays at 9:30 am during the months of July, August, September, and October children (ages preschool through 8) and their caregivers will have the opportunity to listen to a story and then explore the farm.

Our first program will be next Wednesday, July 22nd. We will be reading two books, “The Vegetables We Eat” by Gail Gibbons and “Tops and Bottoms” by Janet Stevens, then we will pick cucumbers and mint to make honeydew melon and cucumber popsicles (in zip-top ice pop pouches called “Zipzicles”).

The cost is $7 per child. The program is limited to 12 children, so reserve your spot early.

This is not a drop-off program.
