Who We Are:
The Milton Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition is comprised of Milton residents of all ages as well as representatives from a variety of town-wide organizations- including the schools, police, faith organizations, BID Milton Hospital, local media and government programs–dedicated to working together to raise community awareness, prevent, and support those who are impacted by, substance abuse and mental illness.
How to Help:
The Coalition is always seeking new members. There are many ways to be connected and/or volunteer your ideas, skills and time. For more information, or to join our mailing list, email [email protected].
The coalition generally meets every 6 weeks. Our next meeting is on Wednesday July 8th at Milton Town Hall (Carol Blute Conference Room) from 7-9 p.m.
We are currently looking for volunteers who are willing to:
- Take minutes of our meetings
- Oversee the development and distribution of our newsletter (do not need to generate the content, just pull together the information via a program such as Constant Contact)
- Lend Graphic Design skills to create visually appealing materials
- Help promote activities sponsored by the coalition.
If you would like to volunteer, contact Laurie Stillman at [email protected].
